A collection of stories reprinted from Argosy Magazine, featuring a variety of authors, including Eric Linklater, W Somerset Maugham, Joan Aiken, Ray Bradbury, Theodore Sturgeon and others. 242pp. Illustrated with ten pages of black and white plates. Left hinge cracked, with damage to front pastedown where front endpaper has been removed. Scrape to back endpaper, sellotape mark to half-title page. Some foxing and age-toning to page edges, otherwise good copy, no library stamps. Unclipped DJ has a small library sticker to spine and clear protective cover..
