London / New York: John Lane, 1901. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Sixth Edition.. London / New York: John Lane, 1901. Sixth Edition. Very Good/no dust jacket. Sixth Edition. Decorated American trade binding. Clean dark blue cloth boards with gold decoration and triple rule line border, gold lettering on cover; gold lettering on spine. Printed at The Crow Printing Company, New York. Slight surface wear to spine ends, no fraying. Binding is tight, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean (slight foxing to endpapers), with gilt top page edges. Very small previous owner name on front free endpaper. 309 pages. Fascinating series of letters from a woman staying at one of the Great Camps in the Adirondacks during the late 1800's -- she was a wonderful writer who captures the beauty of the area and the spirit of the time; quite an independent young woman who enjoyed being wooed by several men at once during her summer sojourn..
