This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Galerie Alex Lachmann from April 4 to June 30, 1995. Essay by Margarita Tupitsyn. This catalog is one of the only monographs available on Arkadij Schaichet. This exhibition was the first one to appear in Europe. The exhibition presents his work from the 1920's through the late 1930's. He is known to photography specialists from his contributions to the German publication of the period: AIZ, which John Heartfield also worked for, producing many memorable covers. 70 works illustrated in black & white in this catalog.
