Analysis, critique and examination of potential effects of the Townsend Plan, a proposal to furnish the elderly with a $200 per month pension, and which was relied upon heavily in development of Social Security. Red cloth printed in red, frontis cartoon in black and white, orange printed dustjacket. The book is near fine with firm binding, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.00] and is very good with some spine darkening and a tiny chip from the top edge of both front and rear covers, almost no paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
