This is a Near Fine copy of the First American Edition (the English versionwas titled "On Another Man's Wound"). Tan cloth binding, ruled in red, with titling in black on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 403 pages, illustrated endpapers. Frontis photograph of O Malley. Nicely fresh textblock of high-quality paper stock. The rear paste-down has the original price-sticker still in place. Previous-owner signature on the FFEP. Just a touch of rubbing to the margins; quite close to a Fine copy. Lacking a dustjacket; in an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
