Brown cloth boards with gilt titling to spine and blind stamped publisher's device to front board. Minor bumping to spine ends, else fine Dust jacket is sunned at spine with minor bumping to spine ends. Foxing to edges of text block, but interior is clean. B&W illustrations throughout. Here is the third edition of a classic work of amateur blacksmiths, revised to include steelmaking techniques, the items the small-scale smith can produce, how to set up a shop, new information on equipment and where to get it, and a new look at the skills needed and how to acquire them.
