About This Item

New York: Bantam Books. Near Fine in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1993. 1st Trade Edition; 1st Printing. Hardcover. 0553093053 . Color Illustrations; This book is in Near Fine condition and has a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket has a couple of small nicks and edge tears. The text on this tribute to the Western / Native American art of James Bama is by Elmer Kelton. This copy includes a laid in print in a folder embossed with an owl from the Greenwich Workshop which contains the color print Sepia Study - Pawnee Indian. Unfortunately, the previous owner, a Saddlery from Boulder Creek, CA, added an inked store emblem / address to both the front and back covers of the folder (NOT to the print, thank heavens!). "James Bama is one of the best contemporary artists working today. His portraits - of people from the smallest child to the greatest hero - have garnered the respect and captured the imagination of art collectors and critics around the world." Due to the extreme weight of this book, postage will have to be determined at time of ordering. .
