Viking Studio/Madison Press book; 1990; apparent first edition; NF/VG; large HC (11 1/4 in. high x 12 in. wide), dark red cloth over boards, embossed BATEMAN; book is near fine, clean, crisp, no markings; DJ unclipped, clean, bright, but a bit scuffed and somewhat bumped along lower edge and has small closed tear at bottom of spine on back. This is a fine coffee-table type book combining a biography of Robert Bateman with commentaries on his work. Profusely illustrated with both B&W and many colour reproductions of his paintings. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
