Pp. un-paginated, illustrated with 4 color plates and 44 black and white plates by the author. Publishers original mottled brown cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. Gold and dark brown border with gold and dark brown stamping on the front cover, 4to. This Derrydale edition was limited to 1225 numbered copies, this is copy no. 207. There is no dust jacket preserved. This work cover about 60+ species of gamebirds. See also Siegel #98. Bookplate of Frederick Louis Ott on the front endpaper, no other ownership marks.
