The spine is starting and there is a small stamp on bottom front flyleaf; Ask Miss Mott is a humorous novel about a high school teacher who is asked to coach the school’s girls’ basketball team. The teacher is a natural at coaching and quickly turns the team around, leading them to a winning record. However, the girls’ parents are not happy with the team’s success and want the teacher to resign. The teacher refuses to quit and continues to coach the team, even when they are suddenly eliminated from the playoffs. In the end, the team and the teacher are triumphant, and the parents are happy to have seen their daughter’s skills develop.; 8vo; 286 pages .
