The story of the author's rehabilitation and conservation of an eroded and nutrient poor farm, by means of water conservation, plantings and contour irrigation. Softening and rubbing to the backstrip edges, book edges and rubbing to the lower book edges. Browning to the textblock edges and pages. Previous owners rubber stamp to the top right-hand corner of the free front end paper and original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down.
