Original cloth portfolio (in the lowe marging of the front side a very small tear; some minor dust soiling). With 108 magnificent large plates in Helio engravings after photographic records of original sections, and their flimseys. ¶ A very good copy of one of the best Atlases on the subject. Jelgerma did important investigations concerning the small brains and gave with his colleague Cornelis Winkler, the Dutch neuro-anatomy an international reputation. See: 'N.N.B.W.' XI, 274.
