Dos Palos is located in the Great Central Valley of California. This is the history of the area from its time as home to various Yokut Tribes, through the Rancho Period to almost total ownership by Miller and Lux, cattle barons. Miller and Lux developed the land in the 1880's-90's, and set up farming colonies, bringing farmers from the east and Midwest. The Atlas covers the period 1802 thru 1899. Size: Atlas Folio - over 23" - 25" tall
