Foreword by Dr. AD. v. Strumpell. Text in German. Text block is in excellent condition. Many black-and-white, as well as colored illustrations, which have remained bright and clear. The two fold-out illustrations are intact. Front pastedown and endpaper beginning to separate from binding at the hinge. Green cloth cover with gilt lettering. Rubbing to edges and a 1/2" thin black mark to front cover. Some light smudges and faded spots on back cover. 223 pages, plus ads. ; 5 1/4 x 7 1/2
