Elias John Wilkinson Gibb (1857 - 1901) was a Scottish scholar of Arabic, Persian, and Ottoman Turkish. His translation allowed the English reader to come to a better understanding of Turkish poetry.
12mo, xii, 100pp, teg, other edges rough cut, patterned end papers. Full vellum and gilt embellished binding, with gilt decorative emblems at each corner of front & rear boards, gilt title at spine. Boards a little curved at foredge, top front hinge short crack, foredge front end paper a bit chipped. OCLC: 1913473.
