A compendium of how-to instructions from a time when the homeowner was presumably much less timid about undertaking major projects. Text, photos, and diagrams cover in detail topics such as creating built in cabinets and shelves, working with electricity, painting, plumbing, tiling, and many others. Two volumes in reddish-brown leatherette. Minimal wear, but a bit of yellowing due to age. Over 1000 pages total.
