The superb collection of illustrations forms a picture gallery of nature wonders to illuminate the author's fascinating narrative. 116 pages with 7 pages of colour and 25 pages of black and white plates. Book in very good condition with foxing on side edges and previous owners sticker on inside cover and general fading. Dust jacket in good condition with edge wear, some tears and chips and a 2cm piece missing from top spine area and small piece missing from top back and front inside jacket snipped but price still present.
