An accomplished author and reviewer by the 1930's, Swinnerton has collected several of his articles from 'The Fortnightly Review' and 'The London Mercury' and has added two wriiten especially for this book, all concerned with the vagaries of the publishing trade. Selections include 'Why are Books Published', Literary Agents', 'The Size abd Price of Books' and 'Booksellers', among others. No previous ownership marks. Edges of book block foxed, covers and inteirior clean and unmarked. Good.. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
