Trade Edition [6x9"]; Green cloth covers with gilt lettering on front and spine, green toned image of farm buildings and countryside on front and back endpapers, fore and bottom edges uncut; [6], 247 pp. frontispiece image of President Coolidge, seven images on plates; Minor shelf wear and rubbing to covers, edges and bumped corners. Calvin Coolidge [1872-1933] was the 30th President from 1923 to 1928. He was Vice President when Harding died in 1923 and was elected directly in 1924. He was a conservative republican that supported limited government, yet he was a strong supporter of civil rights of African and native Americans.
