Boston, 1858. Two pages. 1 vols. 8vo. In response to Kellogg's request for autograph material for the purpose of a Post Office at the fair of the Young Men's Christian Association. Dana writes "I do things of that kind so seldom that they are a labor to me, & are in danger of appearing so to the reader. Still, I would gladly give my aid in that way to every good cause, but at this moment if I can find the liesure [sic] to write anything, I feel myself committed to the Cambridge Fair for the Chimes." Stitch marks in margin, folds, else fine. Two pages. 1 vols. 8vo.
