1986. unbound. very good. Exceedingly rare autograph note signed on her embossed personalized greeting card "Mrs. Alexander Sachs", gatefold opens to 5" x 7", October 1st 1986, in full: "At last I found "Julliard Sound" - Sorry about the delay - All good wishes", signing with her large script letter "C" with a musical note in the lower loop. Fine conditoin. *It is more than probable that Charlotte Sachs is referring to herself acquiring a vinyl recording by the Julliard String Quartet.<br/> <br/> German-born Jewish Entrepreneur and inventor who came to the United States in 1924. In a career that spanned over sixty years she held patents for many inventions including the first powdered cake, muffin and frosting mixes requiring only water as an ingredient; the combined key and flashlight, the modern wine cellar, and later, a storage device that kept wine at the appropriate temperature. In 1945 she married the economist and banker Alexander Sachs, best remembered as a close friend of Albert Einstein, of which he passed on the famous letter warning President Franklin D. Roosevelt that Germany was developing an atomic bomb.<br/> <br/>
