Kensington, 1883. unbound. Humorous autographed letter signed, 2 pages, 8vo, Kensington, September 25, 1883. In part: "...This day a man is never hero to his valet...that my autograph should be an object of research...would be gratifying indeed to my vanilty..." Very good condition.<br/> <br/> English subject and son of an Indian civil servant; known as both a dramatist and a painter.<br/> <br/>
