About This Item
London: The Automobile Association, 1959. Hardcover. 8vo. Yellow paper over boards. 272pp, 48pp maps. Text and map endpapers. Very good. Binding mildly mildly worn, with spine slightly sunned, but overall tight, clean, nice. First edition of this in-depth road guide to, as front board notes, "Hotels Garages Service Map General Information" for travelers in England, Wales and Scotland. A remarkably thorough, detailed look at U.K. transportation of the era.
