london: longmans, green, and co., 1900. Book. Illus. by Archibald Thorburn. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. pp. xi, 228 + 8 b/w plates, (including frontispiece) by Archibald Thorburn. Publisher's red buckram cloth with gilt lettering and vignette to the front board, very good, a little uneven fading. Contents good and tight, original end-papers, the front of which with a small neat gift inscription dated Dec. 1900, some pages unopened, some spotting to title page and tissue guards and associated pages, and page edges, small stain to fore-edge of frontispiece. Plates good and clean. A very good copy. [Chute 234.].
