Red cloth covered boards with black detailing to front- some small marks to front board. Gilt lettering and decoration to the spine. Spine a little sunned. Shelf wear to top and bottom of spine. Corners a little bumped and rubbed. Binding a little loose. White end papers to front it appears rear facing end paper has been removed. Preface written by Maria Monk in New York in 1836. Some tanning to end page.
