About This Item

New York: The Norman W. Henley Publishing Company, 1919. Hardcover. Very Good. 1919 edition. Octavo. 274, 33pp. ads. Heavily illustrated with diagrams, photographs, and one fold-out. Binding a bit loose and moderately worn, vertical creases on both boards, a just about very good copy of an interesting book.

A notice at the beginning of the book states that the author did not have the ability to read the proofs before being called to France for service, and that the publishers would appreciate readers bringing any errors to their attention. In keeping with the romantic spirit of early aviation, owner name of C.E. Steele of Dodge City, Kansas, with a few penciled equations, on the rear pastedown. Steele was an early aviator and author of Steele's *Aid to Pilots*, an early guide to help aviators understand new Civil Air Regulations. Uncommon, and a nice association.
