An interesting copy of this volume of children's poetry, including the poem Captain Reece, General John, To a Little Maid and Haunted. The volume is humorous and occasionally sinister and has illustrations by the author throughout the text. In the publishers original green gilt cloth binding. Externally, sound with some fading to the boards, extremities and spine. There is previous owner ink to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages. Pages 96-97 and 130-131 are age toned. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
