Very Good Condition/Very Good. 700 g; XII, 232 pages, includes bibliography, and illustrated with 24 pages of black-and-white plates. There are traces of foxing on the top and front edges of the text block, and a gift inscription on the front end page. Trivial rubbing to the bottom edge of the dust jacket. Otherwise in very good condition. The author has had a varied and distinguished career. He graduated from Sydney University a bachelor of medicine and surgery in 1927, he was appointed Resident Medical Officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and later at Hospital for Women in Sydney. His brilliant medical career, culminated in his appointment as Professor of obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Sydney. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
