[xiv]+286, x+275pp. 12mo contemp. calf, spines gilt, joints cracked, corners rubbed, spines chipped, lacking spine labels, Hugh Kelly [1739-1777], Playwright and Author, first came to London as a staymaker. He edited "Court Magazine" and "Ladies' Museum". His comedy "False Delicacy" was a success at the Drury Lane Theatre. This work reprints selections originally published serially in Owen's Weekly Chronicle: or Universal Journal, and Owen's Weekly Chronicle; and Westminster Journal from 1763 to 1766.
