New York: Charles Scribner's Sons. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. 180 p. 23 cm. Sound and square library binding in cloth-covered boards. Minor wear. Boards have discoloured somewhat. Previous owner's label on front pastedown endpaper. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has some wear to the edges and corners, including chips and tears. The spine is quite darkened, and the panels somewhat tanned. It is price clipped. A Hawaiian folk tale of a young boy who attempts to restore his exiled father to an esteemed position as guardian and personal assistant to the King. Illustrated with lino-cuts. .
