Spine ends slightly rubbed, else a fine copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (a few closed tears around edges, 1" x ½" chip at upper right of front panel, some light soiling).

First edition. A hilarious fable about an island filled with ugly monsters whose world gets turned upside down when beautiful flowers begin to bloom. One of Steig's earliest picture books.
