About This Item
1911. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (Leipzig: Karl Baedeker, Publisher 1911). Sixteenth Revised Edition. With 10 maps and 19 plans (all present). Bright and tightly bound in red flexible red covers cloth with gold titles. Light fading to spine, edge wear and tear at top of spine. All maps are included and remain near fine. The text remains bright and unmarked. A nice copy. IN THE VERY RARE plain brown D/W which is darkened to the spine and with a 7 cm closed tear to the right hand edge of the front panel adjacent to the inside flap. In our experience copies of this book in the D/W are exceedingly uncommon. Indeed, this is the first example that we have handled. Photographs/scans available upon request.
