New York: A.S Barnes and Company, 1955. First edition thus. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First edition thus, hardcover with black cloth boards in dust jacket, 842pp., no illustrations. Book and Jacket are in Very Good condition. Jacket shows some edge wear and a few minor tears at the spine. Book has light corner wear, some sunning to the spine edges, former price written in ink on the endpapers and foxing, toning and some soiling to the text block otherwise binding is tight and pages are clean, bright and unmarked,
