Adam and Charles Black, London, 1958. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Various. Illustrated end pages. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece showing Ulanova; with numerous black-and-white photographs throughout celebrating the year's ballet along with a few black and white line drawings. Cream coloured boards with light blue coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. The 12th annual record and yearbook for ballet - 1958. Minor rubbing of the book edges with age toning of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning to the end pages and there has been a piece of blue tape attached to the verso of the title page which has bled to the title page – please see photograph. Little chipping of the top dustwrapper corners with creasing and small tears to the top dustwrapper edge. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels and fading of the back strip. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
