First Edition. Signed by the author to the title page. In the original price-clipped dust wrapper. This is the seventh novel within the Nathaniel Drinkwater series by Richard Woodman, taking place on the frigate HMS Antigone when it is sent to the Baltic in 1807. Captain Drinkwater must juggle country alliances and liaise with intelligence agents, eventually confronting his old enemy Edouard Santhonax.Richard Woodman is an English novelist and naval historian. In 1997, he retired from a 37-year nautical career in order to work full-time. Collated, complete. In the original cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with no noticeable faults. Dust wrapper is excellent with very minimal edge wear to spine region of wraps. Prior owner's sticker to front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Author's ink inscription to title page. Fine
