Neat previous owners bookplate on first pastedown from private library collection. Lacking only the scarce dust jacket. One of the earliest reprints of The Bandit of Hell's Bend from G&D publishers, uncommon in any condition. First appearance in 1924 as a six part serial in the pulp magazine Argosy All-Story Weekly. Frontispiece illustrated by Modest Stein. Classic ERB western adventure novel, collectible. 316 pgs. 8vo.
Synopsis
The Bandit of Hell's Bend was written by Edgar Rice Burroughs of Tarzan fame. This story tells of the Slash Y ranch, and it's heiress Diana Henders, who is fighting to keep it from being taken over by her family and Yankee industrialists.
