Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co, 1906. Hardcover. Good +/No Dust Jacket. Illustrations by Maginel Wright Enright. First Edition Thus (?), later printing with tan endpages. Covers are soiled, rubbed and scuffed. Spine has been rebound. Binding is tight and square. Some tape to back endpaper and previous owner's name and address penciled in. Beautiful, bright, colorful illustrations. Scattered soiling and smudging to pages. Tan endpages are toned and soiled; first free end paper corners have been clipped. Pictures available upon request. Scarce Edition of The Twinkle Tales, written by Laura Bancroft (aka L. Frank Baum, author of The Wizard of Oz Books).
