Walter Sullivan (1924-2006) was an author, critic, longtime Vanderbilt University professor, authority on Southern literature and one of the founding members of The Fellowship of Southern Writers to which Bell was elected for membership in 2003. His wife, Jane Harrison Sullivan (1923-2022), taught English literature at Aquinas College. Fine in fine dust jacket.
