Small chip on upper spine, some foxing, covers loose else a good reading copy. 567 pp. plus list of 100 volumes in people's library. This was the first story attempted by Dickens in which he dealt with life and scenes other than his own time. He finished this book in 1841, and he was very pleased with his work which takes place in 1780's.
