A colorful, lushly photographed history of batik, as researched and written by the founder of a batik designer fabric company in the United States. It includes discussions of the religious, cultural and geographic influences on this southeast asian artform. Condition: Very Good Plus, with a Very Good Plus dust jacket. Some spotting to half title page, otherwise clean and sound. Jacket shows slight wear to corners, one closed tear at rear.. First Edition. Hardcover . Very Good Plus/Very Good Plus.
