About This Item

Virginia: Unknown Publisher, 1962. 20 pages. Pamphlet that is a facsimile reprint of the rare original published by Johns & Goolsby, Steam Printers in Richmond in 1880. This relatively scarce facsimile reprint was published circa 1962 as part of the centennial commemoration of the battle at Williamsburg, but neither date nor publisher is noted. The author was a field officer in the 24th Virginia Regiment, which suffered 189 casualties among its 740 men during the battle. The pamphlet is clean and tight, with no tears or creases and just a hint of fading along the edges.. Reprint. Paperback. Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
