Catalog of contest-winning photographs, "Being a Collection of the Photographs Which Received Awards in the Three Thousand Dollar Quarter Century Photographic Competition Which Closed October First Nineteen Hundred Three" Competition judged by Rudolf Eickemeyer, Jr., C. Yarnall Abbott, and William F. James. With texts by Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen, Myra Wiggins, Jos. N. Pearce, Curtis Bell, Nellie Coutant, and Louis Fleckenstein, all of whom are represented among the featured photographers. Photo credits identify photographer and title as as well as the particular Bausch & Lomb lens used. Wraps. 4to. Black textured paper wraps with original photo (by Harry Contant) mounted to front cover. Hand-sewn binding. Wear and a few small tears to outer edges. Light foxing throughout. Pages toned. Very good plus.
