About This Item
Boston: Little Brown and Co, 1968. Book. Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition.. Signed and inscribed by Fortier and Jack Parkinson who wrote the text on the title page, who dedicate the book to "The Captain and crew of the "Cyrus" Interesting text and photos of the Buzzard's Bay Massachusetts area. Beautiful B&W photos of the Padanaram and South Dartmouth areas. Norman's marvelous B&W nautical photos were recently featured at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. He was a Navy photographer in WWII and resided in Padanaram where he had a studio until his death recently. The DJ is included for posterity, not really useful to protect the book. Seldom seen signed by both. Laid in loosely is a newpaper article about Norman with his photo. Some fading to the boards. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
