Illustrated soft cover/NF w/faint creasings & light discoloration. 125 full-color pages, based on the film The Yellow Submarine (United Artists), produced by Al Brodax, written by Leen Minoff, Al Brodax, Jack Mendelsohn, & Eric Segal. Based on an orginal story by Leen Minoff, and directed by George Dunning. Songs by John Lennon & Paul McCartney. A magical voyage, chartered by Max Wilk w/a reminder that "Once Upon a Time (or Two) there was a paradise called Pepperland laying eighty thousand leagues beneath the sea" which can only be visited by listening to pleasant music. In Pepperland love conquers all. A final caveat reads, "Psssssst! We have a very serious announcement. New & Bluer Meanies have been reported in your vicinity. We would like to suggest that you ... start singing!" Four footnotes provide travel guidelines for voyagers: (1) The Care & Operation of a Yellow Submarine; (2) Submarine Insurance Policy; (3) Classified Announcement of Lost of small creatures Jeremy Hilary Boob, Ph.D.; and, (4) Cut-out tickets for The Victory Celebration, followed by a final, learned exposition titled "The Origin of the Yellow Submarine." Fine copy with a lesser cover.
