Wear at both ends of spine; 1/4" slit at top edge of spine; dark stain the size of a nickel on front tissue guard, edge of frontis and title page. 364pp. Nice red & black title page, top edge gilt; Frontis is an etching by W. Boucher. Translated from the French by James Waring.. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket.
