The Nottingham Society, 1901. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901. One thousand sets fo. 380 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound leather with marbled paper covered boards and gilt lettering. Black and white illustrated frontispiece and plates. Pastedowns and free endpapers marbled patterned. Slight crinkling to gutters however binding remains firm. Pages are heavily tanned with noticeable foxing. Heavier tanning to textblock fore edges. Rough cut pages. Textblock top edge dyed gold. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Moderate fraying to leather corners and spine. Minor loss to spine. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
