Nice-looking, structurally sound condition softcover copy of an artist exhibit catalog, an extremely rare catalog at that, following from the 17 Mai -17 Juin 1961 show in Paris, with unfurled tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear to the glossy illustrated wraps, in gate-fold. Louise Leiris Gallery displayed and sold fine art works from leading artists of the 1940s and 1950s all the way into the 1980s. Nearly square softcover format, measuring 6 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide, respectively. "Ce catalogue (no 17 - Serie A) a ete acheve d'imprimer sur les presses des Maitres-Imprimeurs Draeger Freres, le 12 Novembre, 1963." List of distributors inside front flap, introductory essay by Jean Lescure, then 29 illustrations in mostly black-and-white, many more in duotone and a few being in color, printed on high-gloss paper. Exhibit check-list at rear. Text in French. Unpaginated, but roughly 45 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
