Hardcover. 224pp. Brown full morocco, stamped in black and gold on the front panel and the rear panel, spine with five raised bands, lettered and decorated in gold, all edges gilt, brown endpapers. Engraved portrait frontispiece. Includes a selection from the Aesthetic Letters and the American Cottage Life. Front hinge weak, wear and partial split along the spine, some wear to corner tips. Internally very clean but for a touch of foxing to the first three leaves. A good+ copy. Uncommon. ; 16mo.
