A collection of the most significant works of this Russian Revolution's tragic poet, from his earliest pre-revolutionary lyrics to a poem found in a notebook after his death. A bilingual edition, selected, edited, and introduced by Patricia Blake with the original Russian on the verso, the English translation by Max Hayward and George Reavey on the recto. The title poem is a long dramatic extravaganza in nine scenes, a satire of the Soviet system. Notes. 318 pp.
