First series comprises the superfamilies Caraboidea, Palpicornia, Staphylinoidea and Diversicornia with 19 plates in colour, 20 in black and white and numerous text figures and diagrams. Second series comprises the superfamilies Clavicornia, Heteromera, Lamellicornia, Phytophaga and Rhynchophora, and including the Strepsiptera with 44 plates in colour, 43 in black and white and numerous text figures and diagrams. DJs have protective plastic covering, unfortunately taped to boards, causing tape stains to covering, DJs, boards and free endpapers. DJ lightly worn to edges, else sound. Apart from points already mentioned, books in very good condition, pp clean and tidy, text and illus. bright.. First Edition. Hard. Very Good Minus/Good. 12mo.
